I am Naveen Goyal, currently a Prime Minister Research Fellow at Materials Research Centre, Indian Institute of Science. I have a chemistry background and utilize my chemical knowledge to understand the nanomaterials synthesis with defined morphology, composition and structure for targeted applications. My research area involves wet-chemical synthesis of hybrid nanostructures, understanding their growth mechanism, phase transformations and detail investigation of interfaces. For the characterization, I heavily use (Scanning- ) transmission electron microscope along with other characterization techniques including XRD, SEM, FIB, Raman, UV-visible spectroscopy, XPS, BET.
